Web design in Wayne County, MichiganWayne County web design for a county that is really many local markets.

Wayne County web design cannot treat the county as one place. A customer in Livonia, a family in Dearborn and a homeowner Downriver each search in their own terms and pick the company that clearly works near them. We build hand-coded sites with real community pages that load fast and win the call.

What Wayne County customers need from your website

Wayne County is the most populous county in Michigan, with 1,771,063 residents in 2024, and it had 33,699 business establishments in 2023, including 5,635 retailers, 2,972 restaurants and 1,108 auto repair shops. Detroit alone had 645,705 residents, and Dearborn, Canton Township, Livonia and Westland each have more people than many Michigan counties.

That scale changes what a website has to do. A single page about serving Metro Detroit does not tell a customer in Taylor or Lincoln Park that you show up there, and it gives Google little to work with either. The sites that hold up here are organized around the areas a business really covers: the western suburbs, Dearborn and Dearborn Heights, the Downriver communities or particular Detroit neighborhoods.

Our Wayne County work includes the websites for Daskal Landscaping in Northville and Vasso Law in Canton, both hand coded. Template sites built in drag-and-drop tools get heavier as they grow, because every page hauls the same builder code along, a legacy approach many Michigan agencies still sell. Hand-coded pages stay light as you add services and areas, and the whole site and domain belong to you.

What we would do first

The first things we would work on, before spending more money on reach.

Map the areas you really serve

Decide which parts of the county deserve pages, such as Livonia and Canton, Dearborn, Downriver or Detroit neighborhoods, based on where your jobs come from.

Community pages with substance

Each area page shows local jobs, common requests and how you reach that part of the county, not a copied block with a new name.

Built light to grow

Hand-coded pages that stay fast on a phone as the site adds services and areas, with no builder slowing every page.

Calls tracked by area

Phone and form tracking by page, so you can see whether Downriver or the western suburbs actually bring the jobs.

Page-builder templates versus a hand-coded site for Wayne County

Many local websites are built with drag-and-drop page builders. They are quick to set up, but they ship far more code than a page needs, and phones feel it first.

How many area pages does a Wayne County business need?

As many as you can fill with real content, and no more. A plumber covering Livonia, Westland and Canton might need three strong pages. A company working the whole county might group areas, such as Downriver, instead of writing dozens of thin ones.

Did you build the Vasso Law website?

Yes. We built the website for Vasso Law in Canton, and the website for Daskal Landscaping in Northville, where we also manage Google Ads. Both are hand coded and owned by the business.

Is a hand-coded site harder to grow later?

No. Adding a service or area page is straightforward, and the site stays fast because each new page carries only the code it needs. Builder sites tend to get slower as they grow.

Do you work with businesses inside Detroit?

Yes. We are based in Michigan, and a Detroit business gets the same free strategy call with Nick and the same hand-coded build as anyone else. Planning happens on video or phone calls.
