Modern Apex Strategies, LLC ("Modern Apex," "we," "us," or "our") explains here how we collect, use, and disclose personal information when you visit our website, contact us, book a meeting, or use our client services and portal.
This policy covers modernapexstrategies.com and our client portal at app.modernapexstrategies.com. Client businesses have their own privacy practices. When we handle their customer information on their behalf, their instructions, our agreement with them, and applicable law govern that work.
1. Information we collect
- Contact and inquiry information. Your name, business name, email address, phone number, website, and anything you provide in messages, calls, forms, or meeting requests.
- Business and project information. Your services, service areas, target customers, campaign goals, budget information you choose to provide, website content, account details, files, and project correspondence.
- Client and account records. Portal access and authentication information, account activity, agreements, invoices, payment status, support requests, and service history. Payment providers process payment information under their own terms and privacy notices.
- Connected service information. When you authorize access, we receive information from advertising, analytics, business listing, customer management, call tracking, billing, and other connected platforms. Depending on the service, this includes campaign performance, website activity, lead contact details, call metadata, and customer or sales outcomes. Recordings or transcripts are handled where available and authorized; recording is not a condition of browsing our website.
- Website and device information. Hosting and technology providers may receive your IP address, browser and device details, approximate location, pages visited, referring URLs, timestamps, cookie identifiers, advertising click identifiers, and interactions such as booking-link clicks.
We receive information directly from you, from your authorized users and connected accounts, from visitors interacting with our services, and from referrals, business partners, or publicly available business sources. Please do not put passwords, full payment-card details, Social Security numbers, medical records, or other sensitive information into general inquiry forms.
2. How we use information
We use information to respond to requests, schedule meetings, prepare proposals, deliver and support services, manage campaigns and websites, report performance, administer accounts, send service communications, handle billing, and maintain business records. We also use it to evaluate and improve our website and services, measure our advertising, prevent misuse, protect accounts, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.
We may use software and AI service providers to help organize business records, summarize communications, analyze campaign information, and prepare work product. Information needed for those tasks may be processed by those providers. Access to a connected account is used within the authorization and service scope you provide.
5. Your website privacy choices
You can turn off analytics and advertising measurement using the controls below. This also opts this browser out of disclosures through our Google and Meta tags that may constitute sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. The setting applies to this marketing website and browser. Repeat it on other browsers or devices, and after clearing your stored preferences.
Analytics and advertising
Enable JavaScript to view or change this browser's setting. You can also enable Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track in your browser.
We honor Global Privacy Control and a Do Not Track value of "1" by blocking our Google and Meta measurement tags on this website. A browser privacy signal takes priority over an "allow" setting. Our legal pages do not load those tags.
Turning measurement off does not prevent essential hosting logs, form delivery, security, or a calendar you choose to use. It does not delete information previously received by third parties or change the privacy settings on their own websites. You can also manage cookies in your browser and review Calendly's Privacy Notice. To opt out of other uses of your information, contact us below.
6. Email, phone, and text messages
We use your contact information to respond to your inquiry and communicate about requested or active services. Providing a phone number or accepting our website terms does not by itself authorize automated promotional calls or texts. Where required, we obtain separate consent.
You can request that promotional emails stop by using an unsubscribe option, replying to the email, or contacting us. For texts, reply STOP to stop further text messages or HELP for assistance, or email us directly. Message frequency varies with your inquiry and services, and message and data rates may apply. We may still send essential service, security, or billing communications through an appropriate channel.
7. Retention and security
We retain information for the time reasonably needed to provide services, maintain business and accounting records, satisfy legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention depends on the type of information, the relationship, the purpose of collection, and legal or contractual requirements. Operational archives and backups may retain information after it is removed from active systems, subject to those needs.
We use administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to our operations, including access controls and authentication. No online service or storage system can guarantee complete security. Please contact us promptly if you believe your account or information has been compromised.
8. Requests about your information
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to access, obtain a copy of, correct, or delete personal information; opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling; limit certain uses of sensitive information; withdraw consent; or appeal a denied request. Some information may be retained or requests limited where applicable law permits or requires it.
Email nick@modernapexstrategies.com with your request and enough information to identify the relevant relationship. We may verify your identity or an authorized agent's authority before disclosing or changing records. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. To appeal a decision, reply to our response and state that you are requesting an appeal. You may also contact the privacy regulator or attorney general where you live. We do not discriminate against people for exercising applicable privacy rights.
If the information belongs to a business client and we handle it on that client's behalf, we may direct your request to that business or assist it with responding.
9. Location and children's information
Modern Apex is based in Michigan and serves businesses in the United States. We and our providers may process and store information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Privacy protections may differ by location; we use legally required safeguards where applicable.
Our website and services are intended for business users and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can address it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to our services, practices, or legal requirements. We will post the updated version here with a revised effective date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice and obtain consent where required by law.
